Job summary
Johnson Controls in New Jersey seeks an experienced engineer to design, configure and service complete HVAC building control systems and related low voltage subsystems. You will ensure quality, timeliness and efficiency of service, repair and design work for customer facilities.
You will develop software programs, create flow diagrams, BOMs, network layouts and wiring schematics, and collaborate with Sales, Service and subcontractors to deliver reliable building automation solutions while
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, and controls.
- Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using LON, BACnet, etc.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Designs, configures and services complex building control systems for client facilities.
- Develops software programs and tests to ensure proper operation.
- Creates flow diagrams, BOMs, network layouts and electrical schematics.
- Coordinates drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and services.
- Orders materials and tracks delivery for assigned projects.
- Assists in loading, commissioning and validation of systems and networks.
