Job summary

CareerPaths NW, LLC is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the HVAC and building automation sales for our Kent, WA branch. This player-coach role combines hands-on new business development with coaching and developing a team of Account Managers to exceed revenue targets.

The ideal candidate has seven+ years of B2B HVAC sales experience, proven leadership skills, and a track record of closing complex opportunities.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of B2B sales experience, preferably in commercial HVAC or building automation.
• Experience managing Accounts Managers or service-sales reps.
• Proven ability to develop and close new business.
• Experience coaching sales teams against measurable activity metrics and revenue goals.
• Comfort reviewing HVAC proposals, pricing, contracts, and profit margins.
• Established relationships with commercial facility owners, property managers, contractors, or institutional customers.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the branch's HVAC and building automation sales efforts.
• Develop the branch's annual sales plan and market strategy.
• Establish revenue, profit, and activity goals for the sales team.
• Hold Account Managers accountable for calls, appointments, proposals, presentations, and closed business.
• Conduct individual performance reviews and coaching sessions.
