Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems including lighting, nurse call, and data networks. You will collaborate with field teams, customers, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, on-time projects.

You will develop control software, validate system functionality, and support training for owners and operators while ensuring safety and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controls systems, programming, installation or commissioning.
• Knowledge of construction or HVAC industry.
• Familiarity with control theory and building automation systems.
• Experience with BACnet or related building subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure complex building control systems per contract documents.
• Create diagrams, sequences of operations, BOMs, and network layouts.
• Develop and test HVAC software to operate the system as intended.
• Coordinate drawings, equipment schedules, and submittals for installation.
• Support commissioning and field troubleshooting of systems.
