Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Branch Service Manager to lead day-to-day HVAC service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and financial targets are met. You will supervise branch teams, coordinate with service managers, and drive process improvements to deliver reliable, safe service and growth.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive HVAC service experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' service proven experience managing service operations and/or service dispatch / scheduling.
• Minimum of 5 years HVAC commercial industry experience with progressing responsibility.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize work based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project accounting or costing principles.
• Ability to represent Johnson Controls and influence diverse teams.
• Ability to use Service Management software and financial accounting systems.
• Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience in HVAC industry

Responsibilities

• Owns the day-to-day tactical HVAC service business and drives high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborates with HVAC Truck Based Service Managers and CSRs to meet financial objectives.
• Direct supervision of service business support team (account management, asset management, invoicing, file maintenance).
• Provides coaching to branch service teams on standard methodologies and service applications.
• Drives delivery standards consistent with BSNA objectives for profitable growth.
• Performs other duties related to customer happiness and service strategy execution.
