Carrier Enterprise, a national HVAC products distributor, is seeking a Branch Counter Sales Associate in Gaithersburg, MD. You will greet HVAC/R professionals and customers, provide product knowledge, and support branch operations.

Responsibilities include processing orders, handling transactions, maintaining inventory, offering technical assistance, and ensuring a safe, welcoming counter area. Some travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and retail sales with suspected leadership exposure.
• Ability to analyze customer, market, and product data for planning.
• Experience in B2B distribution or wholesale sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and help them find HVAC/R products and supplies.
• Process orders accurately and handle cash, checks, and cards.
• Maintain product knowledge, pricing, and specs on inventory.
• Monitor stock, perform counts, and report discrepancies.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting and technical issues.
• Ensure counter safety and a clean, organized work area.
• Complete paperwork for invoices, returns, and warranty claims.
