Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking a Branch Sales Associate in Spartanburg, SC. You will be the face of the branch, delivering exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support to HVAC/R professionals and contractors visiting the location.

The role includes processing orders, maintaining inventory, promoting sales, and providing warehouse support while upholding safety standards. Eligible for monthly performance bonuses, you will join a team focused on growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably HVAC/R.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R products and components.
• Strong customer service, active listening and problem-solving.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with computerized sales and inventory systems.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk long periods.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations.
• Process customer orders accurately and ensure items are available and priced.
• Maintain knowledge of HVAC/R product inventory, specs, compatibility, and pricing.
• Monitor and replenish floor stock; conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting and technical issues.
• Promote sales initiatives and upsell where appropriate.
• Provide warehouse support including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock organization.
