Job summary
Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dynamic Branch Sales Associate to join our team in Roanoke. The role focuses on exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support for HVAC/R professionals visiting the branch.
You will greet customers, advise on products, process orders, manage stock, and contribute to sales growth through strong relationship building.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service required.
- Leadership roles with P&L responsibility preferred.
- Retail sales experience and ability to grow sales.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships.
- Experience using customer, market, and competitor data for planning.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with HVAC/R products.
- Process orders accurately and handle payments.
- Maintain product knowledge, pricing, and availability.
- Monitor stock and conduct regular inventory counts.
- Provide technical support for HVAC/R equipment.
- Ensure safety and keep the counter area organized.
- Complete paperwork for invoices, returns, and warranty claims.
- This role may require occasional travel to various locations for training sessions, professional development opportunities, meetings, or other work-related activities.
