Job summary
Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Design Engineer - Transmission Line based in Utah. This role will focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of high-voltage transmission infrastructure. Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with routing and design of high voltage overhead transmission line facilities.
- Understanding of design codes and standards such as NESC, IEEE, ANSI, IBC.
- Ability to travel as necessary, up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead all engineering responsibilities related to overhead transmission line design.
- Utilize CAD software for scaled drawings and mapping.
- Conduct engineering calculations, including voltage drop and pole loading assessments.
