Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Project Engineer - Transmission Line to oversee high-voltage infrastructure projects from concept to completion. You will review designs, calculations, and specifications for substations or transmission lines, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality while coordinating with stakeholders and the design team.

The role requires a Civil/Structural background, 5+ years in the electric utility sector, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. or graduate degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in electric utility industry with HV substations or transmission lines.
• PE license required and strong knowledge of codes and standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception to completion: planning, design, permitting, construction support, closeout.
• Review calculations, drawings, and specs for substations or transmission lines.
• Ensure on-budget and on-schedule delivery with cost-effective solutions.
• Verify compliance with regulations, environmental and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and the public for project delivery.
• Oversee quality control and maintain engineering documentation.
• Prepare detailed project status reports and records.
