Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager - HV/BESS to plan, manage, and deliver the complete commissioning scope for high-voltage substations or battery energy storage projects. You will lead the scope from planning through energization, testing, acceptance, and turnover, owning schedule, resources, risk, and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years delivering commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery for utility-scale facilities.
Experience coordinating multiple projects and leading cross-functional field teams.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent).
Preferred PMP, NETA, or electrical credentials.

Responsibilities

Own HV or BESS commissioning scope across typically 2–3 concurrent projects.
Develop and maintain commissioning execution plans, milestones, and resource forecasts.
Translate contract requirements into executable commissioning scope and work plan.
Establish priorities and escalate safety, contractual, technical, or schedule issues.
Coordinate pre-commissioning through energization and turnover activities.
Lead readiness reviews ensuring construction, quality, and safety prerequisites are complete.
Coordinate with owners, utilities, OEMs, engineering, and field teams.
