Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager for HV/BESS projects. You will own commissioning scope across multiple concurrent projects, developing execution plans, readiness criteria, and schedules.

The role requires coordinating field teams, OEMs, customers, and utilities while ensuring safety, quality, and timely turnover. Responsibilities include managing test forms, energization prerequisites, and acceptance criteria, plus leading readiness reviews and documenting progress for

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of utility-scale HV substation or BESS commissioning sequences and interfaces.
• Ability to read contracts, scopes of work, IFC drawings, and interconnection requirements.
• Experience coordinating multi-project commissioning teams and leading field teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2–3 concurrent projects.
• Develop and maintain a commissioning execution plan and deliverables register.
• Translate requirements into executable commissioning scope and work plan.
• Make day-to-day decisions within scope and escalate safety or schedule issues.
• Provide daily and weekly reports to leadership on progress and risks.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure prerequisites are complete before testing.
