Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager - HV/BESS to lead the complete commissioning scope for high-voltage substations or battery energy storage projects, typically 2–3 concurrent. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at job sites with partial remote work, and location details will be discussed in interviews.

The role owns scope, schedule, resources, risk, technical coordination, stakeholder alignment, documentation, and issue resolution from planning through energization

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commissioning/startup for utility-scale facilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to read IFC drawings, schematics and interconnection docs.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Own HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2–3 projects.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plan and schedule.
• Translate contracts, specs and interconnection requirements into work plans.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure prerequisites are complete.
• Coordinate field teams, vendors, and witness/test requirements.
• Track progress, reporting, and issue resolution.
