Job summary

SOLV Energy is hiring a Commissioning Project Manager to plan, execute, and manage the commissioning phase across utility-scale solar, battery storage, SCADA, and substation projects nationwide. Hybrid work with on-site presence at job sites accompanies field teams, engineers, and owners to ensure timely, safe, and compliant turnovers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, operations, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Strong ability to read IFC drawings, schematics, relay docs, and interconnection requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; PMP/CM credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2-3 concurrent projects including milestones and turnover.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plans, schedules, and resources.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure safety, quality, and documentation prerequisites.
• Coordinate with owners, utilities, OEMs, and field teams during testing and energization.
• Manage day-to-day decisions and escalate issues affecting safety, cost, or schedule.
