Job summary

GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and infrastructure across high and medium voltage projects. The role emphasizes safe operation, reliability, and collaboration with researchers and facilities teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with minimum 5 years in industrial electrical engineering
• Associates degree with minimum 10 years in industrial electrical engineering
• High School diploma with minimum 15 years in industrial electrical engineering
• Experience with research or testing operations, including electrical system design, development, and implementation
• Excellent project management skills including planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Strong electrical safety knowledge per OSHA, NFPA, IEEE and NEC code regulations
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and infrastructure (high/medium voltage).
• Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical systems; develop preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage infrastructure projects from conception to completion; coordinate with researchers and facilities teams.
• Develop and implement electrical safety policies, conduct audits, and mentor staff on safety practices
