Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage product design, development and testing.
• Minimum of 5 years in an engineering role with 3D CAD software (CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new high voltage dead-tank circuit breakers and test planning.
• Apply arc interruption, dielectric and power testing expertise to ensure performance.
• Use ANSYS or similar tools to define design parameters for interrupters with green gas tech focus.
• Present project updates to R&D leaders and coordinate cross-functional milestones.
• Review drawings for manufacturability, assembly, cost, and quality.
• Oversee type tests per IEEE/IEC standards in collaboration with QA/R&D.
• Provide technical support for existing products and drive issue resolution.
