Job summary

Dashiell Corporation is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee multiple concurrent field testing, commissioning, and maintenance projects. The role will manage schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction, with hands-on testing as needed from our Fitchburg, WI office and travel as required.

You will lead field crews, provide technical direction, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. A technical degree and HV testing experience are required, with opportunities to support project

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent field experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the execution of multiple Field Service projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Maintain accountability for revenue and profitability on assigned projects; monitor project financials and take corrective action to protect margins.
• Plan and allocate field crew resources, equipment, and materials across projects to optimize productivity and meet client schedules.
• Represent the company and the Field Services department in meetings with clients, ensuring professional communication and client satisfaction at a program level.
• Provide technical direction, training, and performance feedback to field staff; support hiring decisions and workforce development.
• Enforce corporate policies and procedures on assigned projects, including safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Represent the company in QA/QC role, ensuring all testing and commissioning deliverables meet standards and client specs.
• Conduct and lead JSTAs, safety briefings, and safety stand‑downs; investigate incidents and observations per company protocols.
• Review job scope and conduct project kickoff meetings to convey scope, schedule, safety requirements, and technical expectations to field crews and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, and clients to resolve technical issues, manage scope changes, and maintain momentum.
• Review and approve test reports, commissioning documentation, and quality deliverables produced by field crews.
• Perform electrical testing and commissioning activities, including protective relay testing and station apparatus testing.
• Direct and oversee testing of transformers, current/voltage transformers, switchgear, and related equipment.
• Direct maintenance of station auxiliary systems, batteries, chargers, inverters, and distribution panels.
