Job summary

Saber Power Services in Tulsa, OK, seeks a Construction Manager to lead high‑voltage electrical infrastructure projects, including substations and transmission systems. You will manage on-site construction activities, ensure safety compliance, and maintain schedule and budget adherence from groundbreaking through completion.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination with engineers and subcontractors, and a proven track record in high-voltage construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7+ years of experience managing construction projects in the high voltage electrical industry.
• OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety or industry certifications (e.g., PMP, NETA, NFPA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily field construction operations on high voltage projects (69kV–500kV).
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, utility clients, and internal project teams to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident work environment.
• Monitor progress against schedule and resolve issues to avoid delays.
• Review and approve project documentation including work plans and QA/QC checklists.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality and compliance.
• Manage construction budgets and track cost performance.
• Lead on-site meetings and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Mentor and supervise field personnel and crews.
