Qualifications

• Three to five years of high-ticket B2B sales, account management or consultative selling experience.
• Proven success winning new accounts and growing them through follow up, upsell and long-term relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage owners and executives.
• Comfort with CRM tools, pipeline management, building and working a prospect database, and sales reporting.
• Self-motivated and coachable, with a genuine interest in ongoing training and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with business owners and executive leadership teams throughout the Kansas City area.
• Research and prioritize target companies to build and work a high-quality prospect database.
• Generate new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
• Run consultative discovery conversations that uncover real business challenges and growth opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver proposals and strategy presentations tailored to each prospect.
• Follow up relentlessly and guide prospective clients through the sales process from first conversation to signed agreement.
• Develop strategic referral partnerships.
• Show up at networking events and become a known presence in the local business community.
