Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for the Remote Automation Solutions division in Lawrence, PA.

You will drive growth by identifying and closing new sales opportunities across the defined territory, while delivering value to customers in traditional and emerging markets such as Midstream, Transmission, and Water. The ideal candidate will have a four-year engineering degree or equivalent industry experience and at least 2 years in technical sales.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 2 years of technical sales experience with prospecting and growth.
• Understand technical and business challenges and develop solutions.
• Team player able to work with Account Managers and other units.
• Capable of managing key sales relationships.
• Penetrate new accounts and cover territory daily.
• Experience with measurement and control fundamentals.
• Experience selling into Oil & Gas and/or RNG markets is a plus.
• Strong presentation, consultative selling, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Remote Automation Solutions business.
• Be responsible for sales of full range Emerson Remote Automation Solutions products and services in defined territory.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities and establish a value proposition that results in sales.
• Provide technical/sales support to all outside sales teams.
• Act as the representative for other Emerson entities identifying opportunities and introducing necessary resources.
