Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services seeks a Human Services Program Representative 1 to evaluate agency performance, review child safety concerns, and guide improvements in service delivery.

You will collaborate with leaders and staff across organizations to strengthen outcomes for children and families and ensure programs remain reliable, effective, and aligned with Commonwealth standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Agency Evaluation: Conduct surveys and reviews of agencies to assess service quality and program achievement.
• Safety Review: Analyze allegations of child abuse and review cases to support protective services.
• Program Analysis: Assess compliance with state and federal requirements and evaluate plans, contracts, and reimbursements.
• Guidance Provision: Provide consultation to agencies on improving services and operations.
• Policy Support: Develop and recommend policy revisions to strengthen programs for children, youth, and families.
• Report Preparation: Prepare written and oral reports that explain findings and recommendations.
