NAVAIR is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations) to support NAWCWD within the Labor & Employee Relations department as the primary Harassment Prevention and Response Program (HPRP) coordinator.

Responsibilities include handling initial intakes, assessing allegations for coverage, supporting training initiatives for leadership and staff, managing multiple employee relations program areas, and conducting strategic trend analyses in collaboration with EEO officials.

Job description

The Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations) supports NAWCWD within NAVAIR’s Labor & Employee Relations department as the primary Harassment Prevention and Response Program (HPRP) coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial intakes for reported concerns, using judgment and knowledge of applicable law and agency policy to ask questions that capture the full scope and severity.


• Assess reported allegations to determine whether they fall under existing harassment prevention and discrimination policy coverage.


• Support the development and execution of training opportunities for leadership and employees based on local trends identified through data analysis.


• Manage employee relations program areas, including one or more of the following:

  • Employee benefits
  
  
  • Worker’s compensation
  
  
  • Time, leave, and pay issues
  
  
  
  


• Conduct strategic trend analysis and partner with organizational leadership and EEO officials to help execute barrier analyses.

Requirements

• Minimum salary: USD 87,061 per year


• Maximum salary: USD 161,313 per year


• Location: China Lake, CA (onsite)
