Job description

Hiredbuddy is seeking a remote Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this entry-level role, you'll support HR operations, employee relations, and recruitment. Ideal for recent graduates or those with 0-2 years of HR experience. Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Full Description

Hiredbuddy is a fast-growing company that connects top talent with innovative organizations. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our remote team. This is an entry-level role perfect for someone with 0-2 years of experience in HR or a related field who is eager to build a career in human resources. As an HR Manager at Hiredbuddy, you will be the first point of contact for employees and will play a key role in shaping our workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all team members.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures, escalating complex issues to senior HR leadership as needed.
  • Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company values and legal requirements.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including tracking review cycles and supporting managers with documentation.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives, such as onboarding sessions, compliance training, and skill-building workshops.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, particularly in the United States.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts and help foster a culture of belonging.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in special projects, such as employee engagement surveys, policy updates, or HR system enhancements.
Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required if you have relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. You should be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is expected. Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems is a plus, but not mandatory. You must be comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are key to success in this role.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. You will collaborate with a distributed team across different time zones, so strong virtual communication and time-management skills are necessary. We provide all the tools you need, including a laptop, software licenses, and a home office stipend. Our team culture values transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We believe in investing in our employees’ growth and offer regular feedback, mentoring, and learning opportunities.
