Job summary

MIT Federal Credit Union in Lexington, MA seeks an Human Resources Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to HR and Learning & Development. You will coordinate processes, maintain employee records, assist onboarding, and help deliver training and engagement initiatives.

This role works collaboratively with HR Generalist and L&D Trainer to ensure compliant, efficient programs and excellent service to employees across the organization.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or HR Certificate is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years HR or administrative experience is required.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Learning & Development functions. This position is responsible for supporting the Human Resources and Learning & Development operations through the coordination of departmental processes, maintenance of employee records and documentation, assistance with onboarding activities, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives. The Human Resources Specialist also provides operational support for Learning & Development programs through the coordination of training logistics, orientation activities, reporting, and departmental projects. Working collaboratively with the Human Resources Generalist and Learning & Development Trainer, this role helps ensure departmental programs, systems, and initiatives are organized, compliant, and delivered efficiently while providing exceptional service to employees throughout the organization.

Job Requirements:

Required: High School Diploma required or equivalent. Bachelor's degree or HR Certificate preferred. Minimum 5 years of HR or administrative experience required.
