TrueNorth Wellness Services is seeking a part-time Human Resources Specialist in Hanover, PA, with occasional travel to other sites. The role focuses on payroll processing, HRIS coordination, and maintaining employee records, while supporting compliance with payroll regulations.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, HR-related education, experience with HRIS, and strong Microsoft Office skills. A commitment to accuracy and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• Prior HRIS experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process Payroll in a payroll software system.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and pay rate changes.
• Keep detailed documentation of changes and corrections to Payroll or employee files.
• Facilitate Audits by providing records and documentation to the auditors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual reports.
• Maintain employee records.

Pay Rate starts at $16.32 per hour and increases with experience.
