Job summary

EOG Resources is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to provide broad HR support to our headquarters and division client groups. You will build strong relationships with managers, align HR initiatives with company objectives, and lead staff investigations, coaching, and training across the organization.

The role requires partnering with leadership to apply HR policies, manage personnel data, and contribute to strategic HR planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related business field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years Human Resources experience, with oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Results-driven with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with exposure to diverse cultural environments
  • Demonstrated leadership to engage, inspire, and influence others and build relationships with client groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Commitment to confidentiality in daily operations
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • SHRM credential a plus
  • Flexibility to travel (30-40%)
  • Must be open to future relocation to other U.S. division locations based on business needs

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assignments and staffing for headquarters and/or division client groups

  • Develop and analyze statistical reports to support HR strategies

Job description

Provide Human Resources support to assigned headquarters and/or division client groups. This role focuses on developing strong business relationships with managers at all levels while ensuring HR policies and practices align with company objectives. Provide HR support for by ensuring compliance and adapting HR initiatives while facilitating HR best practices. Key responsibilities include coordination of assignments and staffing, partnering with managers to investigate and resolve employee relations issues, coaching employees and managers on HR policies, and identifying and coordinating training solutions as needed. Provide counsel on company policies, benefits, staffing, employee relations, and compensation matters. This role also develops and analyzes statistical reports to support HR strategies, prepares and delivers presentations, and manages special projects as assigned.
