HR Operations Administrator
General Summary
The Human Resources Operations Administrator will perform a wide range of administrative and operational functions to support business needs and ensure the efficient operation of the People & Human Resources Operations Department.
Compensation
- $70,304 - $75,000 (Depending on experience)
Essential Duties
- Answer frequently asked questions from employees regarding standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Prepare semi‑monthly payroll submission and monthly commission pay‑outs, including all required reporting and processing tasks.
- Background check program administration.
- Assist with employee disciplinary action process and terminations (as needed).
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization‑wide meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties.
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed.
- Administer New Hire Check‑In Surveys.
- Process internal pay changes and promotions as requested, ensuring that all changes are accurately tracked on internal resources.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately; ensure the New Hire Checklist is completed at the end of each calendar month.
- Participate in Company Culture initiatives, including appreciation efforts, new hire check‑ins, and related projects, as assigned.
- Follow all policies and procedures for the department and Company, including personnel policies and expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of HR or relative experience.
- Understanding of general HR policies and procedures.
- Experience in PEO environment; knowledge of PEO processes preferred.
- Experience with 100+ employee headcount preferred.
- Multi‑state experience preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn, human resources platforms & software.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
