Job summary

Securitas Security Services is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our Edison, NJ office with optional 1-2 days per week at Marlton, NJ. Workweek is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a salary range of $55,000–$60,000.

The HR Manager will oversee HR functions, lead recruitment, manage licensing, and counsel staff while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. This role emphasizes strong organization, integrity, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an HR related field or an Associate's Degree with two+ years HR experience or an equivalent combination.
• Heavy recruiting experience.
• Experience with hourly employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit candidates for offices and provide orientation and onboarding.
• Advise management on employee retention and HR programs.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA and related regulations.

Human Resources Manager

Securitas Security Services is looking for a Human Resources Manager based out of our Edison, NJ office with the flexibility to work out of the Marlton, NJ office 1-2 times a week.

This position is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Salary: $55,000-$60,000

As the HR manager, you will oversee the HR functions and will have responsibilities to:

• Manage recruitment needs for offices
• Manage state licensing requirements
• Have coaching and counseling skills
• Possess top notch organization skills

Job Functions

• Recruits candidates for positions in assigned locations; selects staff and provides orientation for new staff members; utilizes broad range of recruitment sources to meet staffing and EEO/Affirmative Action requirements.
• Advises management in regard to employee retention efforts.
• Acts to ensure compliance with FLSA and other applicable statutes and regulations related to HR.
• Monitors applicant logs and ensures appropriate selection criteria are established for each open position.
• Keeps management and staff advised of new regulations and company policies related to human resources; monitors and reports on progress toward affirmative Action goals and related issues.
• Assists employee benefits plans on the local level based on eligibility as defined by company programs and client contracts.
• May participate in unemployment, wage/hour and EEOC hearings
• Advises employees and management on the interpretation of human resources policies, programs, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations; assists management in performance management and regarding general human resources issues.
• Analyzes and provides advice to supervisors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve employee work problems; as directed, conducts employee counseling and disciplinary procedures.
• Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have the following experience and ability:

• Bachelor's Degree in an HR related field, or Associate's Degree and two or more years of progressively responsible HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
