Job summary

Generac is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support a fast-paced, high-volume distribution center. You will partner with site leadership to drive engagement, ensure compliance, manage employee relations, and enable strong operational performance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in HR/Business and at least 5 years of progressive HR management experience, including experience in a distribution center or manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or equivalent experience.
• 5 years progressive HR management experience.
• Experience supporting HR in a high-volume Distribution Center or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to align people strategy with business goals.
• Serve as trusted advisor to managers in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Lead employee relations, including coaching, investigations and issue resolution.
• Apply HR policies consistently across the site.
• Support high-volume hiring, onboarding and workforce planning for hourly and salaried roles.
• Drive performance management, succession planning and leadership development.
• Monitor headcount, turnover, attendance and staffing trends for labor planning.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll and Communications to deliver HR programs.
• Lead engagement and retention efforts to build a strong workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and workplace standards.
• Support compensation and payroll processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide HR leadership during organizational change and staffing shifts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or relevant equivalent experience

• Previous experience providing HR support in a high volume Distribution Center or manufacturing environment
