Job summary

Pacific Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a growing organization committed to strong values and a positive employee experience. This role oversees HR across multiple sites, focusing on employee relations, performance management, compliance, payroll support, and engagement, with two direct reports.

You will partner with site managers to develop staffing plans, ensure legal compliance, deliver training, maintain job descriptions, and drive a high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and separations.
• Partner with site managers and recruitment teams to develop staffing strategies, source candidates, and participate in interviews; attend recruiting events and job fairs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all sites; conduct audits and implement corrective actions.
• Promote employee engagement and foster open communication across all locations.
• Identify training needs and collaborate with management and Safety/Compliance teams to design and deliver training programs; conduct sessions as needed.
• Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions aligned with organizational structure and compensation frameworks.
• Support benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and employee communication.
• Manage employee leaves of absence (FMLA, disability, personal leave) and ensure legal compliance and effective communication throughout the process.
• Assist with workers’ compensation reporting, claim coordination, and communication with insurance providers and medical professionals.
• Provide leadership and oversight to HR Generalists and support additional HR roles as the organization grows.

The Human Resources Manager serves as a partner across all departments, aligning business objectives with employee needs and management priorities.
