Search Director, HR Practice at Cordia Resources

We are excitedly looking for a positive, inquisitive HR Manager, who loves streamlining processes and problem solving. Someone who will lead the HR duties for the leadership team while ensuring that HR operates efficiently and smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and have experience in handling a wide range of human resources task to help the company grow and accomplish its commercial goals.

This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, must have excellent attention to detail, able to work independently with little or no supervision, and enjoys the challenges of supporting a company of diverse people. Someone who enjoys going home knowing they put their best foot forward and made a difference by supporting a company and its people.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the company’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures company’s compliance.
  • Maintains responsibility for company compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
  • Communicates changes in company personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
  • Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of company wage and salary program.
  • Coordinates and conducts new employee onboarding and briefings.
  • Coordinates and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.
  • Employee payroll.
  • Handles employee relations and corrective action/disciplinary matters and employee grievances.
  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on personnel matters.
  • Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the company.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains professional development, employee recognition, and employee morale programs and initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains a human resource system that meets company’s personnel information needs.
  • Manages the recruitment, screening, and hiring process.
  • Assist with the development and compliance of the safety program.
  • Conduct benefits negotiations with the broker.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with temporary agencies.
  • Manage HR KPI’s.
  • Manage company events - partiesood etc. all the programs that will maintain moral in the company
  • Implement \, manage training programs and different courses for managers.
  • Participation in safety and OSHA programs in the plant
  • Management of employee’s time clock
  • Manage and analyze absenteeism
  • Participates on committees and special projects.
  • Updating company roles and job descriptions
