The Primary Role

You will be instrumental in our transformation from traditional fabricator to engineered solutions provider. During this pivotal repositioning, you'll establish and maintain the HR systems necessary to support our evolution into a cohesive, modern organization built for scale. You will own the development and implementation of HR processes that align with our growth trajectory, ensure compliance across all HR functions, and help foster a culture that attracts and retains top talent in our field. By aligning the way day-to-day HR operations happens with our larger strategy, you'll create the people-centered foundation that enables our employees to thrive as we expand our business.

The Compensation

Salary range: $95,000 annual salary, paid bi-weekly. Plus annual performance bonus.

The leadership team you'll work alongside values direct communication, continuous improvement, and results over rhetoric. As we evolve into a more sophisticated organization, we need someone who can help us drive a hands-on, reliable culture while introducing more structured HR practices that support scale. You'll work directly with the CHRO to implement systems that honor our industrial heritage while preparing us for enterprise relationships and growth.

The Scope:

● Revitalize HR processes, creating systems that support both current operations and future growth

● Administer payroll, benefits, and leave programs with consistent precision and empathy

● Develop and implement standardized policies, procedures, and documentation that reflect our culture

● Standardize how we manage employee relations including onboarding, performance management,

conflict resolution, and exit processes

● Ensure compliance with federal, state (PA, MD, and OK) and local employment laws and regulations

● Deliver on truly strategic HR KPIs, providing actionable insights to support business decisions

● Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives and growth targets

● Support talent acquisition efforts as we expand into new sectors and capabilities, aligning your efforts

with an excellent candidate experience and maintaining the value proposition of our employer brand

JOB DESCRIPTION

HR MANAGER

● Create and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and reinforce company values

● Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS systems

● Assist in developing compensation structures that attract and retain top talent

● 25% travel in order to serve as a trusted HR partner to employees at all levels of the organization across all three production sites in Pennsylvania

The Key Qualifications

● 5 years of HR generalist experience

● Problem-solving mindset is extraordinarily important

● Experience supporting organizational change and cultural transformation

● Strong proficiency with leveraging HRIS systems. Strong UKG experience preferred.

● Demonstrated experience in HR compliance, policy development, and employee relations

● Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations

● Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations
