Job summary

TriSearch is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for its distribution center in Salina, Kansas. This on-site role partners with facility leadership to run daily HR operations, drive employee engagement, and ensure compliant labor relations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in HR or related field, 3–5+ years in HR leadership, and proficiency in English and Spanish. Experience with unionized settings and Workday is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive human resources experience, ideally in a leadership role (HR Manager/HRBP).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience in a unionized environment with exposure to collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience supporting hourly/frontline employees in distribution/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, performance management, and HR compliance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Workday experience is a plus.

• Support labor relations activities, including union contract administration and grievance resolution.
• Partner with operations to improve engagement, retention and workplace culture.
• Coach managers on performance, leadership development and HR best practices.
• Support talent management, onboarding, development, succession planning and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies and labor agreements.
• Collaborate with corporate HR on recruiting, payroll, benefits, leave management, and HR initiatives.
• Lead change management initiatives to improve HR processes and operational effectiveness.

We are partnering with a well-established, nationally recognized organization to identify an experienced Human Resources Manager for its distribution center in Salina, Kansas

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations for a fast-paced distribution center, serving as a strategic partner to facility leadership.
• Manage employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
• Support labor relations activities, including union contract administration, collective bargaining processes, and grievance resolution.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture.
• Coach and advise managers on employee performance, leadership development, and HR best practices.
• Support talent management initiatives, including onboarding, employee development, succession planning, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and applicable labor agreements.
• Collaborate with corporate HR teams on recruiting, payroll administration, benefits, leave management, and other HR initiatives.
• Lead change management initiatives and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive human resources experience, ideally in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar leadership capacity.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a unionized environment, including exposure to collective bargaining agreements, labor relations, or union contract negotiations, strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting hourly/frontline employees within distribution, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or similar operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, performance management, and HR compliance.
• Ability to build relationships and influence employees and leadership at all levels.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Workday experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a 100% onsite position based Salina,KS, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Candidates must also be available to provide occasional on-call HR support for a distribution center operating 24/7.
