About the Role
Company is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Human Resource Manager to lead daily HR operations and maintain an active presence across their fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a 24/7 production setting, this role ensures seamless talent acquisition, employee relations, regulatory compliance, payroll processing, and plant‑floor safety. Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage full‑cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried personnel. Oversee screening, interviews, job offers, facility tours, HRIS setup, timeclock enrollment, and staffing agency relationships.
- Floor Presence & Employee Relations: Maintain an active daily presence on the production floor to foster positive employee relations, resolve conflict, conduct workplace investigations, and issue coaching notices.
- Safety & Compliance: Oversee workers' compensation claims, accident investigations, modified duty programs, and safety training refreshers (GMP, SQF, HACCP, LOTO).
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Process benefit enrollments, maintain accurate time and attendance records, process garnishments, and manage physical/digital HR files.
- Administrative Operations: Manage onsite administrative support staff, assist reception, coordinate facility tours, and fulfill routine plant administrative duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Degree or HR Certifications preferred).
- Hands‑on HR experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or production environments strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll platforms
- strong knowledge of California wage‑and‑hour compliance, OSHA, LOTO, and safety standards.
- bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Provide onsite Human Resource support to facility management in all areas of human resources to include but not limited to, recruitment, payroll, training, employee relations, scheduling, employee health and safety, employee recognition programs, compliance, employee records, workers compensation, and benefit program administration.
- Primary job tasks will include the full cycle of recruitment; screening, interviewing, onboarding (drafting job offers, orientation, facility tour, set up in HRIS and time clock), maintenance of time and attendance, inputting of garnishment orders, placing uniform orders, and employee benefit enrollments.
- Administrate and track required employee training, company policies and procedures, time and attendance records, coaching and counseling, employee leave of absences, employee performance, and maintain accurate information in the human resource information system.
- Maintaining employee files both physical and digital, processing and verify documentation related to staffing, recruitment, training, complaints, performance evaluations, incidents, payrate changes, and medical leave documentation.
- Maintain relationships with staffing agencies, ensures accurate billing to time processed, and initial training complies with facility and governmental guidelines.
- Conduct employee investigations, providing conflict resolutions and issuing coaching and counseling notices.
