Job summary

Controlled Holdings is seeking an HR Manager to lead our People Ops team and create a positive, morale-driven work environment. You will oversee payroll, benefits, recruiting, compliance, and company engagement events, while driving programs that enhance employee engagement and culture.

We value a non-traditional, fast-moving workplace where HR is about people, not paperwork, and you will work with senior leadership to align people strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in People Operations with team leadership.
• Experience overseeing payroll, benefits, recruitment and events.
• Certified payroll knowledge is a plus.

Human Resources Manager

This position will focus on creating a positive, morale-driven work environment that prioritizes employee engagement and puts people first (see Core Value #1) .

Lead and support all aspects of People Operations with a focus on enhancing employee engagement, morale, and culture.

Manage and organize company- engagement events, creating opportunities for employees to connect, celebrate milestones, and enjoy a strong sense of community.

Creating and driving employee engagement initiatives that make Controlled Holdings a place where people thrive.

Partner with senior leadership to ensure the company’s people strategy aligns with business goals and foster s a positive company culture.

Develop and execute company-wide programs, events, and activities that drive employee morale and engagement.

Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, while maintaining the focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience overseeing payroll, benefits, recruitment, and events management, ensuring alignment with company culture and employee satisfaction.

Demonstrated success in creating and nurturing a positive company culture and driving employee morale.

Experience in implementing and driving People Operations strategies, with an emphasis on employee experience and engagement.

Ability to think strategically while executing day-to-day operations with a hands-on approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about putting People first.

Qualifications :

A minimum of 5 years of experience in People Operations , with a proven track record of leading a team and driving employee engagement initiatives.

Experience with Certified Payroll is a plus.

UKG Ready or comparable HRIS knowledge strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field.

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM SCP certification preferred.
