JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager is a firm-wide resource ensuring the consistent delivery of a supportive workplace. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager will support the Head of People and Talent by delivering robust benefits, compensation, and administrative analyses to further the people and talent initiatives of the corporate structure and wealth teams. This role ensures advisors and stakeholders can effectively support their teams while fostering a rewarding, value-driven, and high-performing "culture-first" environment. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Operations, Policy & Compliance
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
- Maintain complete legal compliance across federal and state requirements (ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA) for a multi‑state employer.
- Advise on knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
- Centralized Documentation:
- Spearhead the continuous modernization of policies, combining HR guidelines into a centralized, living documentation repository.
- Ensure the Employee Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are fully updated.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee strategic relationships with external HR partners and consultants, leveraging external partnerships to optimize task efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits Management
- Compensation Architecture:
- Maintain competitive compensation data, conduct annual market salary benchmarking.
- Design incentive programs that support advisor decision‑making and team motivation.
- Benefits Administration:
- Implement and manage highly competitive benefits packages, including navigating captive membership and new benefit management responsibilities.
- Clearly communicate total compensation value to employees and advisor teams.
- Oversee the administration of the 401(k) program and coordinate with the benefits and payroll coordinator
Operational & Service Model Support
- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Act as the primary leadership contact for shared operational services ensuring seamless resource deployment for advisor teams.
- Advisor Service Model: Evolve the HR service model to dynamically deliver value to financial advisors and their teams as the organization grows.
- Strategic Partner Optimization: Review and execute third‑party vendor agreements (Paycor) to maximize administrative efficiency without moving to a PEO framework.
Performance and Talent Development
- Assist the "Leave Well" offboarding initiatives and exit interviews to drive continuous organizational improvement.
- Support the Head of People and Talent and the Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator with high‑quality onboarding experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven track record scaling comprehensive HR systems, workflows, policies, and tech stacks (including HRIS implementations).
- Extensive experience supporting a multi‑state employer framework.
- Demonstrated experience managing or interfacing with shared operational functions (IT, facilities, or centralized support pools) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Thorough, up‑to‑date knowledge of employment laws and regulations (ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA).
- Mindset: A servant‑leader approach with a reputation for building strong relationships across all organizational levels by delivering premier internal client service.
