Job summary

Richland County First Steps is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance management, benefits, compliance, and HR systems. You will partner with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture and support organizational goals in a timely, compliant way.

This role requires 3+ years of progressive HR experience, strong knowledge of employment law, and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3 years HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Knowledge of employment law, compliance, benefits, and payroll administration.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with HRIS and data management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For:
