Job summary

Richland County First Steps is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team in Columbia, SC. You will lead all HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, workforce development, and HR systems management.

You will foster a high-performing, collaborative work environment while ensuring adherence to employment laws.

Qualifications

• 3 years HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Knowledge of employment law, compliance, benefits, and payroll administration.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with HRIS and data management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

What We're Looking For:
