• Manage training programs and performance management initiatives.
• Ensure government paperwork (I-9, posters) is organized and up to date.
• Foster a culture of genuine hospitality and open communication.

Job description

This is a brand new position for this Atlanta-based minority-owned Full Service Restaurant Company. We are looking for a proactive, strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and productive workplace environment.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, from talent acquisition to employee relations, ensuring our organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. The ideal candidate is passionate about people management, possesses strong organizational skills, and thrives in a dynamic setting where she can make a real impact

DUTIES

Oversee all HR Manager Duties including, but not limited to:

Onboarding – Ensure Proper Onboarding Checklists are developed and followed.

Offboarding – Ensure proper documentation of all exit paperwork is filed.

Human Relations – Mutual Respect for all employees is key to our Culture.

Managing Employee Benefits Program

Training – Ensure Training Programs are executed 100% as designed and all Training Materials are being used properly.

Serve as Contact Person, if Staff have any unresolved issues or just want to talk.

Ensure our Company Culture of Genuine Hospitality is Strong and Effective

Ensure Good Work Environment with comfortable Open Door Policy

Language: HR Manager must be Conversant in English and Spanish – able to talk with and understand employees who might only speak Spanish.

Ensure all government-required paperwork is organized, such as I-9 Forms,

Applications, and government-mandated posters.

Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing HR sourcing, recruiting processes. through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like Lever, iCIMS, or SAP SuccessFactors.

Manage employee evaluation systems and performance management initiatives to promote continuous improvement.

Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, and workers' compensation claims while ensuring regulatory compliance with employment & labor law.

Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management and foster a positive work environment through transparent communication

Requirements

Must be conversant in English and Spanish.

Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles with a strong understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance management.

Demonstrated ability in project management related to HR initiatives like succession planning and organization design.

Familiarity with benefits administration, payroll processing tools like Dayforce or ADP Workforce Now, and data analysis using Excel or similar software.

Excellent communication skills paired with administrative experience in handling confidential information responsibly.

Knowledge of HR sourcing strategies including ATS platforms.

Our young, full service restaurant company, is growing and this new position will also be a member of our Executive Committee.
