The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking a dependable, service-minded professional to join our team as a Human Resources Management Specialist III DPS. Employees support the agency’s mission of protecting the public and serving the people of Oklahoma. The successful candidate will work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and carry out their responsibilities with accuracy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Level II - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree plus one year of professional experience in human resources management; or a master’s degree in human resources or a closely related degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level III - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of bachelor’s degree plus two years of professional experience in human resources management; or a master’s degree in human resources or a closely related degree plus one year of professional experience in human resources management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relevant human resources management experience should include professional level responsibilities in recruitment, personnel administration, classification, compensation, benefits, and/or payroll administration.
