We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support HR functions within client relationships. This role blends traditional HR responsibilities with a consultative, client-facing component, requiring strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to build trusted partnerships. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic advisor to clients while ensuring effective delivery of HR services and compliance with employment regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary HR point of contact for assigned clients
- Provide guidance on HR best practices, policies, and compliance requirements
- Partner with clients to understand workforce needs and recommend tailored HR solutions
- Conduct HR audits, assessments, and reporting for client organizations
- Deliver training sessions or workshops on HR-related topics
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication
- Administer day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and performance management
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee records
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and leave management
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably with client interaction or consulting exposure
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred
