Job summary

TFI International Inc. is seeking an HRIS Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping across multiple platforms. You will ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence while supporting system enhancements, reporting, and security.

Collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT, and Finance to deliver efficient, user-friendly solutions and drive continuous improvement, with a focus on processing accuracy and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • 3+ years supporting HRIS, payroll, or workforce management systems.
  • Experience with ADP Vantage, Kronos, or similar platforms.
  • Strong reporting and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with testing, security administration, audits, and production support.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, timekeeping, wage/hour rules.
  • Experience in union environments is a plus.
  • SOX controls and data security awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary contact for payroll and HRIS configuration, security, workflows, and user access.
  • Support system releases, testing, upgrades, and implementations across HRIS, payroll, and time & attendance platforms.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement tech solutions that improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain process docs, training materials, SOPs, and technical specs.
  • Monitor and maintain system integrations, workflows, business structures, and security configurations.
  • Perform testing, audits, reporting, and data analysis for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations to support payroll initiatives.
  • Assist with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system/integration issues.
  • Participate in projects focused on payroll, HRIS, and workforce management enhancements.

What You'll Do

As the HRIS Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert for payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping systems while helping ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence. You'll support system enhancements, process improvements, reporting, and security administration across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and HRIS system configuration, security, workflows, and user access.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting HRIS, payroll, or workforce management systems.
  • Experience with ADP Vantage, Kronos, or similar HCM and timekeeping platforms.
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience supporting system testing, user acceptance testing, security administration, audits, and ongoing production support.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, timekeeping systems, wage and hour regulations, and payroll calculations.
  • Experience working in union environments and supporting complex work rules is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Experience supporting large employee populations in a complex multi-site environment.
  • Exposure to payroll, HRIS, or workforce management system implementations and enhancements.
  • Understanding of SOX controls, system security, and compliance requirements.
