Job summary

Hummel Group Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to maintain and enhance our HR functions across recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.

This role collaborates with managers to ensure accurate job descriptions, fair compensation practices, and timely onboarding experiences for new hires. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in HR, a Bachelor's or associate degree, and a current driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree required.
• 2–5 years in HR role desired.
• Driver’s license required.
• Pursuit of SHRM designations encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily recruitment: postings, assessments, interviews, offers.
• Drafts job descriptions and hiring criteria with managers.
• Plans onboarding and delivers employee training.
• Oversees compensation changes and coordinates with payroll.
• Educates employees on benefits; oversees open enrollment.
• Monitors compliance with HR laws; maintains records.
• Supports engagement and culture initiatives.
• Maintains HR policies and pay ranges; updates roles.
• Travels to other offices; assists with special projects.
