Job summary

The ACLU of Washington in Seattle seeks an HR Generalist to support staff across the employee lifecycle, handle inquiries, and assist with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding. The HRG will contribute to reliable HR operations in partnership with the HRED and HRM.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director within the People Services team, this role emphasizes equity-driven HR practices, confidential handling of data, and continuous process improvement in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or business (or related field).
• HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
• Experience with HRIS and LMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle.
• Handle routine employee inquiries and coordination of recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
