Job summary

Zander Solutions, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an HR Generalist to own core HR operations, including recruiting, relations, compliance, and benefits, in an onsite, deadline-driven environment.

You will handle day-to-day HR operations, manage full-cycle recruitment, and maintain HR data accuracy while ensuring compliance with employment laws. Collaboration with HR team will be essential for payroll and benefits support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • HRIS proficiency; MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to employees and managers.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of HR data.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and reinforcing a positive workplace culture; elevate to the HR Manager when necessary.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and benefits questions.
  • Ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support performance management activities, including reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.
  • Partner with the HR Specialist and HR Manager to support payroll-related processes.
