Job summary

Community Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day benefits and leave programs, and to serve as a resource on HR policies and retirement plans. The role supports HR operations, HRIS activities, and HR analytics while partnering with leadership to deliver effective HR services.

The successful candidate will handle new hire orientation, employee relations, and performance management support, with travel to CHC locations as needed in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or four years of relevant experience will be considered.
• Minimum of four years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting benefit administration and leave programs.
• Experience with HRIS administration, HR reporting, and data management preferred.
• Experience supporting team member relations and HR projects preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support with primary focus on day-to-day benefits and leave administration.
• Serve as a resource on benefits, leave, retirement programs, HR policies, and HR operations.
• Support HRIS administration, HR reporting, analytics, and data management.
• Assist with new hire orientation, performance management, and team member relations.
• Coordinate projects and provide HR program support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive Human Resources support with a primary focus on the day-to-day administration of team member benefits and leave programs. This position serves as a resource to team members regarding benefits, leave, retirement programs, HR policies, and works closely with the Benefits Manager and HR leadership to ensure responsive and effective HR services. Additional responsibilities include HR operations and HRIS administration, new hire orientation presentations, team member relations, HR reporting and analytics, project coordination, performance management support, and other HR programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; alternatively, four (4) years of relevant professional experience in benefits, employee relations, human resources, or a related area will be considered.

Experience

• Minimum of four (4) years of Human Resources experience required.
• Experience supporting benefit administration, leave programs, and team member benefit questions required.
• Experience with HRIS administration, HR reporting, and data management preferred.
• Experience supporting team member relations and HR projects preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure

• PHR, SHRM-CP, or other Human Resources or benefits-related certification preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to travel to CHC locations as needed.
