Job summary

Community Health Centers in New York seeks a Human Resources Generalist to provide daily benefits and leave administration, HR policies, and employee services under the guidance of Benefits Manager and HR leadership.

You will handle HR operations, HRIS administration, new hire orientation, team member relations, HR reporting/analytics, project coordination, performance support, and participation in HR programs across CHC locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of HR experience.
• Experience with benefits administration, leave programs, and team member benefit questions.
• Experience with HRIS administration, HR reporting, and data management.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Benefits and leave administration: manage enrollment, eligibility, and leave documentation with vendors.
• HRIS operations: maintain records, quick HRIS reports, and audits.
• New hire orientation and onboarding support.
• Team member relations support and workplace investigations as needed.
• HR analytics, projects, and process improvement to enhance efficiency and compliance.
