Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management and recruitment.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM or HRCI preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS and data analytics.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The Bilingual Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in supporting and advancing the human capital strategy within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and performance management to ensure a productive and legally compliant workplace. The role requires partnering closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive organizational culture that aligns with business objectives and promotes employee engagement. The HR Generalist will lead initiatives that enhance workforce planning, employee development, and retention strategies, contributing directly to the company's operational success. Ultimately, this position serves as a trusted advisor and resource for all HR-related matters, driving continuous improvement in HR processes and employee satisfaction across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Execute recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and integrate top talent aligned with manufacturing operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance management programs, including evaluations, coaching, and development plans.
  • Participate and provide suggestions on employee engagement initiatives and support organizational change management efforts to enhance workforce morale and productivity.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR policies, compliance, and professional development topics to support employee growth and awareness.
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to inform leadership decisions and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations applicable in the United States.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics tools
  • Demonstrated success in leading organizational development or change management initiatives.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources or related discipline, preferred.
