Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in San Diego, CA is seeking an HR professional to lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and HR data management, ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience and strict confidentiality across HRIS records.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 3+ years of HR experience, and hands-on experience with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office. Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions.
• New hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate leave of absence requests and ensure compliance with FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California labor regulations.
• Assist with policy development, employee handbook updates, and HR compliance initiatives.
