Job summary

Dagen is seeking an HR Generalist for a 100% onsite role in Plaquemines Parish. You will serve as a trusted HR resource, guiding employees and managers on policies, onboarding, and office matters.

The position emphasizes employee relations, performance management, and lifecycle support across the organization. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and strong communication skills to collaborate with leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience in Generalist or similar role.
• Strong employee relations and HR operations experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers on policies and workplace matters.
• Support the employee lifecycle including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, attendance, and workplace concerns.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire activities.
• Assist with benefits, leave, payroll-related questions, and other employee needs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, compliance, and HR programs.
• Help support employee engagement and company-wide HR initiatives.
• Partner with HR team on process improvements and special projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive employee matters.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong employee relations and HR operations experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
• Experience in LNG, energy, oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, or another industrial environment is a plus.
