Job summary

Dagen, a growing LNG company, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its team in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. This role partners with leaders to align people strategies with business goals and supports employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.

You will work hands-on with management to drive performance, succession planning, and change initiatives, using HR data to identify trends and inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8+ years HR experience including HR Business Partner or strategic HR.
• Strong employee relations and management coaching experience.
• Ability to influence leaders and build relationships.
• Experience with workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, developing people strategies, and helping an organization navigate growth and change.

The HR Business Partner will work closely with leadership and management to align people initiatives with business objectives. This position will have a strong presence within the organization and will play an important role in employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, and overall people operations.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor and business partner to leaders and managers.
• Develop and execute people strategies that support business goals and organizational growth.
• Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, workplace issues, and HR best practices.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Identify workforce trends and recommend solutions to improve engagement, retention, and employee effectiveness.
• Support organizational growth, change initiatives, restructurings, and other business priorities.
• Partner with recruiting teams and hiring managers on talent acquisition and workforce planning.
• Lead and support performance management initiatives, including goal setting, reviews, development plans, and performance improvement plans.
• Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, career development, and talent initiatives.
• Leverage HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and provide meaningful recommendations.
• Promote consistent application of HR policies and practices.
• Partner with HR leadership and other HR functions on compensation, benefits, learning and development, talent acquisition, and other people initiatives.
• Support initiatives that strengthen the employee experience and workplace culture.
• Stay current on employment regulations and HR best practices.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives that improve processes and organizational effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or strategic HR experience.
• Strong employee relations and management coaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence leaders.
• Experience with workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of HR practices.
• Ability to use HR data and metrics to identify trends and develop solutions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
• Experience in LNG, energy, oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, or another industrial environment is strongly preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
